DECISION GUIDE
Use aluminum oxide for the broadest progression and select zirconia or ceramic when the listed coarse-range construction better fits the metal-removal job.
Available from 36–400 grit for wood, general fabrication, and progressive edge refinement.
Coarse and medium choices for heavier removal on compatible metalworking processes.
Coarse and medium choices positioned for demanding stock removal on steel or stainless when the machine and process are appropriate.
HOW TO USE IT
Edge-sander setup and tracking affect belt life, edge accuracy, and finish quality.
Disconnect power and confirm the machine requires a 6-inch × 89-inch belt.
Inspect the belt joint, backing, edges, and abrasive surface before installation.
Follow any direction marking and set tension and tracking according to the machine manual.
Run the belt clear of the workpiece and verify stable tracking across the full machine cycle.
Apply controlled lateral pressure and use the collection and guarding required for the material.
Use the guarding, extraction or collection, personal protective equipment, training, and operating procedures required by the machine, abrasive product, work material, and workplace.
PRODUCT FAQ
Each selected variant is a two-pack. Both belts use the material and grit shown in the selector.
This size is used on compatible edge and oscillating sanders. Confirm both the 6-inch width and 89-inch length in the machine manual before ordering.
Aluminum oxide has the broadest grit range and is the general-purpose choice. Zirconia and ceramic are offered in coarser ranges for heavier stock removal on compatible metal processes.
Use 36–60 for heavy correction, 80–120 for leveling and blending, 150–220 for finish preparation, and 320–400 for finer refinement. Start with the least aggressive grit that will do the work.
The current product record describes the belts as bidirectional. Follow any directional marking on the delivered belt and the machine manual if either specifies a direction.
Shipping methods, rates, and delivery estimates depend on the order and destination and are shown at checkout. The return policy provides a 30-day window for eligible unused items in original condition and packaging. Restrictions and return-shipping costs apply.
