Technique: How to Sand Wood the Right Way
What Does PSA Mean?
PSA stands for Pressure Sensitive Adhesive. These discs consist of Aluminum Oxide abrasive material bonded to a paper backing with a resin bond that keeps the grain in place while adding heat and pressure resistance, extending the disc's useful life.
Aluminum oxide grain offers a fast cut rate at an economical price. These discs work on wood, ferrous alloys, and other metals, and are versatile enough for sanding, medium grinding, deburring, blending, finishing, and polishing. Peel off the adhesive backing and press the disc onto a backing pad or steel disc pad on a disc sander, random orbital sander, platen disc sander, or stationary disc sander.

5" vs. 6" — Which Size Do You Need?
